Protecting Rights, Unleashing Potential

FOCAYO works to safeguard the rights of children while empowering youth with the skills, leadership training and economic opportunities they need to thrive. We believe that investing in the next generation in Tanzania is the key to sustainable national development.

To protect the rights of children and empower youth through education, health awareness, and vocational skills to help them reach their full potential.

Child Rights Education (10,000+)

Providing children with knowledge of their fundamental rights while ensuring access to safe and inclusive learning environments across Tanzania.

Youth & Economic Empowerment (1500+)

Building leadership capacity and supporting young people to access sustainable livelihoods and economic opportunities in Tanzania.

SRHR & Health Rights (84,000+)

Breaking barriers to education by providing comprehensive health awareness and GBV prevention to ensure a safe, supportive environment for healthy development.

Gender Equality & Inclusion (1000+)

Advocating for gender justice and social inclusion to ensure every child regardless of gender can safely access their rights and reach their full potential.

One Girl One Pad Campaign

Break the silence. Keep girls in school. In many Tanzanian communities, girls face school absenteeism and health risks due to a lack of menstrual products.
